yeap....tired....actually my feet hurt thanks to hiking with slippers
The drive to daylesford and the day in town was great.
We started of pretty late & i burned a crummy cd that we all got
tired of on the way back.hehehe...
tired of on the way back.hehehe...
1st stop: Railway markets....It was a good stopover because they were plenty of cool
items i loved looking at. They had this gorgeous hat but at the price of $88 for a
casual sunday market wasnt quite what i was after. So i went off, to get bits and pieces and i did regret not getting some antique plates to frame as well as the old iron that would have made a lovely display in the house. Oh well, doesnt matter....Because i do want to make another stop next time.
2nd stop: Boat house, Since it was by the lake. I decided to have the customery fish and chips and everyone else had great lunch with them to. We then went off for a little paddle, i got paired with rico because i had done rowing and as i remembered it just wasnt my thing.hahaha, not only that i wanted to relax...it was absolutely hilarious watching the boys try to move....I think with 30 mins we got, we managed to paddle our way around the lake.
3rd stop: Quite knackered at this point, we made a quick pit stop in the city. I feel in love with this antique shop. I wanted to get this oil tin and a childrens toy pram then i had the sudden image of a ghost child pushing it in the house. haha* that put me off... After my stroll alone, i met the boys and we went into a chocolate shop to get some treats for ourselves...
4th stop: Chocolate mill, hehe i know we're greedy. I cant help it, im a chocolate freak! So, we had a glimpse of how they made it & i bought a little box of chocs and had vanilla ice cream with melted belgium chocolate....;)
5th stop: Our hike all the way to the springs....to find that there was NO WATER.....and hiked back to another spring to find that we were going around in circles. But we did fill up some water in another spring which was close by. Erk! the water was like sparkle min water with rust which reminded me a lot of tacurongs water. hehehe
6th stop: blow hole....short walk to find that there was nothing exciting there and the boys started throwing rocks to see who could hit the platform...haha i was just watching and i had 2 try's...almost!
time to head home, we didnt make it to the lavender farm because it was too late but i do plan to go there again with the intention to enjoy a spa.
